Standard 2: Skill and Fitness Based Competence

Physical education teacher candidates are physically educated individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate competent movement performance and health enhancing fitness delineated in the NASPE K-12 Standards.

This photo demonstrates that I have the knowledge and the skills to teach physical education.  This shows that I am proficient in movement patterns and I will be able to demonstrate these movements to my classes.  I was National Player of the year in 2010 for Division III and I feel through my athletics I have learned to be competent in movement patterns.
